The Iowa Code contains all the general and permanent statutory laws of the State of Iowa. The updated, electronic version of the Iowa Code is published annually, in late autumn, on the General Assembly's website and is available as a download. The print version is published every two years prior to the start of a new General Assembly.

The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) is the compilation of all permanent laws now in force. It is a collection of Session Laws (enacted by the Legislature, and signed by the Governor, or enacted via the initiative process), arranged by topic, with amendments added and repealed laws.
